Light Painting
In the early 20th century artists and others began experimenting with long exposures of moving lights in order to create light drawings. Here are some light paintings that other professionals have done themselves. Light Painting is a little bit like writing with light, it allows the shutter on the camera to be open for as long as it takes you to take a photo. You can also use a flash to freeze the subject during the long exposure.

My first light painting.
Where this was my first try at trying to make my light painting I didn't really get the camera in focus and also the lights that I used was quite flared.
