PERSONAL PROJECT #3: MULTIPLE IMAGES
Multiple images is where a photographer takes several pictures of one object or person but from different angles. This is a good technique because it shows you different points of view of an images and it shows a lot more of what it may look like in reality which makes it looks more imaginative. A photographer might also create a sequence of images that might tell a story. Another technique might be that collaging of several images together. In this project I will be exploring a variety of approaches to making multiple images.
Research
One photographer that has stood out to me that specialises in multiple images is Rinko Kawauchi. She takes images of ordinary moments in life. She first started off advertising things which made her become a professional photographer. She was awarded an Honorary Fellowship of The Royal Photographic Society in 2012. Here are some of her images.
She gave me some inspiration to make some images similar but with a bit of a twist. I used the Andigraf app on the iPods to take these pictures using more than one lens for each image:
Here are some of my multiple images that I took in school. I thought they went quite well but there is more room for improvements. I could have used more close up photos because they're the most effective images.
These pictures in my opinion went every well because I had never done this type of photography and I think it went pretty well considering I had never one it before. I'm glad that I learnt how to do this because it gives me a chance to experiment further.
